Revelation 16:5 KJV
And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.
It always behooves us to be reminded that God is righteous to judge as He does. In our fleshly minds, we often either defend ourselves or take up the offense of another in the judgment of God. We tend in our flesh to feel as Cain did, that our "...punishment is greater than I can bear."[1]
We see ourselves as the victims of God's judgment rather than recognizing that His judgment is righteous and holy and designed always for the very best good.
