Behold, the
LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion,
Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work
before him.
This passage concerns Christ's coming to set
up His kingdom. When He comes the Bible says (and repeats in Isaiah 40:10) He
will have His reward with Him and His works before Him. The sense is this, that
at the time of Christ's return His work will have preceded Him. He came before
and began His work and it has been carried out ever since.

When Jesus comes anti-Christ will have
had his way and Christ will see him before Him. The battle of Armageddon will

Having His work gone before Him, when
Christ comes He will be ready and prepared then to present His rewards. There
