Revelation 13:10 (KJV)
He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

Faith in the promises of God leads to patience concerning the judgments of God. I am free to:

• Forgive
• Love and
• Minister to

those who appear to be enemies because I believe in the judgment of God.

The reason a Christian is able to obey the Lord and

• Love our enemies 
• Bless those that curse us
• Do good to them that hate us and
• Pray for those that despitefully use and persecute us[1]

is precisely because we believe the Bible.

Those promises of good, cheer and comfort us. Those promises of judgment upon the wicked free us from bitterness and open the door for unconditional love toward them.
