Colossians 2:16-18 (KJV)
Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

Within these verses we find two “Let no man…” phrases. In the first we have a subject with which we can have little to do. In the second is a subject we may have much control over. I can have little control whether another judges me. I can have complete control over whether they are able to beguile me.

Therefore it seems to me that the same way in which I would not be beguiled I would not be judged:

• I disallow them influence in my life. 
• I pay no attention to their judgments or their teachings. 
• I choose to occupy my mind and my attention on those who have headed in the same direction God’s Word has led me. 

Those who have chosen a path otherwise are free to take their course but I won’t give them liberty to interrupt my own.
