Jonah 3:9 (KJV) Who Can Tell?

Jonah 3:9 (KJV)
Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?
This is a worldly leader, so wicked that the preacher didn’t even want him and his nation to repent and be saved. And yet, when a united prayer of confession and repentance occurred, God gave them mercy.
Who knows what good might be done if we will but humble ourselves and pray and seek God’s face and turn from our own wicked ways?
Who knows what God might do if:
  • A nation
  • A family or
  • A church
were to do this in agreement together?[1]

[1]Based upon this concept, and David’s prayers evening, at morning and at noon, I
have committed me to,  a. Praying for my family each morning at 9, b. Praying for my church each day at noon, and c. Praying for my country each evening at 6. I am asking others to join me for just one minute of united prayer. Will you join me?
