Ephesians 3:13 (KJV) A Worthy Prayer List

Ephesians 3:13 (KJV)

Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

This verse introduces the following prayer,

Ephesians 3:14-19

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

May be able to comprehend with all saints what isthe breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

The reason he bowed his knees and prayed for them is that they would not faint under the weight of the tribulations he endured. I take it then that, if these prayers are answered, we might expect they would not faint. 

• To be strengthened with might in the inner man by His Spirit
• That Christ would dwell in their hearts by faith
• That they would be rooted and grounded in love
• That they would comprehend with all saints the breadth length depth and height (the unsearchable riches of Christ)
• That they would know the love of Christ 
• That they would be filled with the fullness of God

This is a worthy prayer list for those we care about.
