Hebrews 10:11 (KJV)

And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

The law, being but a shadow, must have been a frustrating practice for the priests. 

• They offer
• They performed
• They practiced their faith

But they could never come to any reality. It was futile. It came so near to the truth, but it could never save or sanctify any of them. 

Enter Jesus Christ. 

His one sacrifice for sins: 

• Sufficed God 
• Served its purpose and 
• Satisfied the Lord 

so that He sat down at the right hand of God.
