Joshua 10:21 (KJV)
And all the people returned to the camp to Joshua at Makkedah in peace: none moved his tongue against any of the children of Israel.

When our Civil War had finally ended the victory secured by the Union reunited the states, but it did not stop the tongues of many in the South. It could be argued that they are moving their tongues to this day. But in the case of Joshua’s battle, in chapter ten, the enemy of Israel was so soundly defeated that, by the time it was over, no one of them said a word against Israel. They had certainly sworn and cursed them prior to the battle. Now those remaining returned into fenced cities in peace and at peace in their soul. 

We live in a time of great cursing against the Lord and His people. A time such as existed when the cup of Canaan’s iniquity was full appears to exist once again. I do not imagine it is possible for us to so soundly defeat the enemies of our Lord, either by word, testimony or action, as to stop their tongues. But the Bible promises another Joshua will soon arrive. When His battle is over, none will move their tongues against any of the children of God forevermore.
