Colossians 4:3-4 (KJV) Withal Praying

Colossians 4:3-4 (KJV)
Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:
That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.
The word, withal, means “at the same time.” At the same time you continue in prayer, at the same time you are watching with thanksgiving, at that same time pray “also for us.” The Apostle has two specific requests:
Pray for a door of utterance
He asks that they pray for God to give him an opportunity to speak the mystery of Christ. He isn’t asking for the boldness to make the door. I’ve known some like that. He is asking for them to pray God would open a door.
Pray that he would then make the message manifest and clear.
That he speaks the message as he ought to speak it. That is not always an easy thing to do.
We can pray always for all things because we can pray for them at the same time. At the same time we are praying for any and every burden and need and praise, at that same time, pray for your preacher
