Romans 5:3 (KJV) Not Only So

 

Romans 5:3 (KJV)

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

And not only so…

• Not only are we justified
• Not only do we have peace with God
• Not only may we rejoice hope of the glory of God

We can rejoice in tribulations because we know:

• 
  
  Tribulation worketh patience
• Patience works experience 
• Experience works hope and that
• Hopes makes us unashamed 

• Not ashamed of the gospel[1]
• Not ashamed of Christs death
• Not ashamed of the coming wrath of God

The result of faith is justification. The consequences of justification are more far-reaching than being forgiven.
