And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
Well before the Great Commission, I see plenty of "going and telling."
- The women came to see the sepulcher.
- An angel came and told the women.
- Jesus came and met the women.
- The women came and told the disciples.
- Jesus came and spoke unto them.
There were two witnesses to the women:
- The angel.
- The Lord.
There were two witnesses to the disciples:
- The women.
- The Lord.
Everyone needs someone to tell them Jesus is alive from the grave. No one is born again until they meet Jesus for themselves.
