And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
Ten lepers:
· All ten asked for mercy.
· All ten were instructed to shew themselves to the priests.
· All ten left to see the priests before they were cleansed.
· All ten were cleansed of leprosy.
Just one returned to give thanks.
Of him, Jesus said, “thy faith hath made thee whole.”
· It didn’t require faith to do the religious thing.
· It didn’t require faith to be cleansed.
· It didn’t even require faith to “worship” Jesus.
It did require faith to be made more than cleansed; whole.
