Mark 1:14 (KJV)

Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

As I understand it, there is only one gospel—one message of good news. But that gospel contains many intricate facets. In the Word of God, we find mention of:

• The gospel of the kingdom of God
• The gospel of Jesus Christ
• “This/the” gospel
• The gospel of the grace of God
• The gospel of God
• The gospel of His Son
• The gospel of Christ
• “My/our” gospel
• The gospel of peace
• The glorious gospel
• The everlasting gospel

And besides these, we also read of “another” or “any other” gospel—implying that there is only one true gospel. Anything else is another or a false gospel.

John said of this gospel, “The time is fulfilled.”
This gospel is now in effect. All the pictures, types, and shadows of the Old Testament were then—and continue to be—fleshed out and in full operation.

The kingdom is at hand.
This does not mean the kingdom of God (the millennial kingdom promised to David, which we still look forward to) is now present, but that it is imminent. The door is open. The invitation is about to be offered. Not all who want to enter will. Not all who believe they will enter, will. Not all who work at entering, will.

The invitation is quite specific. All are invited, but there is only one door.

“Believe this gospel.”
I suggest that means enter by this door. To attempt to enter any other way—to try a different gospel—is to attempt to steal your way in. It won’t work.

Jesus is the Door. His death, His burial, His resurrection, and His ascension into heaven—where He ever liveth to make intercession for you—are the key that opens the door.

John 14:6 (KJV)
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Believe this gospel.

One Truth. One Way. One Gospel: Only One Door Opens Heaven

🔔 There’s Only One Door to Heaven!
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” (John 14:6 KJV) The good news is simple and powerful—there is only one true gospel, and it leads through Christ alone. Every other “way” is a dead end.
